Issue 12 of Paper Chained has just been released on our website, and will be posted to all subscribers in custody on our physical mailing list in the coming days. This issue's guest cover artist is Orlando Smith from San Quentin State Prison in California, who was also kind enough to do an artist interview. You can read his story inside, alongside an interview with writer and former Australian prisoner John Killick, instructions on how to make sculptures in custody, a preview of Editor Damien Linnane's new book Raw, and, as usual, a collection of fantastic art and writing contributions.
Read and download the issue for free from our homepage. As always, people are welcome to print and send it to loved ones in custody themselves. Due to restrictions on what prisons allow to be received via mail, we deliberately print Paper Chained in loose-leaf format, and encourage others to do the same.
