Paper Chained works closely with Inside Out, a quarterly Australian newsletter aimed at LGBTIQ inmates though open to everyone. Inside Out is posted free to inmates worldwide.

Paper Chained works closely with About Time, Australia's first national prison newspaper, which is distributed widely to prisons all over Australia.

JUSTICE ACTION​
Paper Chained works with Justice Action, a not-for-profit organisation that represents Australian prisoners and involuntary mental health patients. Paper Chained considers itself to be continuing the legacy of Framed, the magazine of Justice Action, which was distributed to prisoners between 1989 and 2004.
