Issue 16 of Paper Chained has just been released on our website, and posted to all subscribers in custody on our physical mailing list. This issue's front cover art was given to us by Corey Devon Arthur, currently incarcerated in New York, who is one of many incredible artists from Empowerment Avenue.
This issue shares the story and artwork from a former Palestinian prisoner Mohanned Al Azzeh, features an interview with former prisoner and author Anthony Prince, and also an essay on prison education from our copy-editor Lucas Thompson.
Read and download the issue for free from our homepage. As always, people are welcome to print and send it to people in custody themselves. Due to the restrictions some prisons enforce regarding mail, we deliberately print Paper Chained in loose-leaf format, and encourage others to do the same.
